So starts "Sweat Loaf", the bands skewed take
on Sabbath. This album is the one that got
me into the Buttholes.
Paul Leary's blistering guitar lines and Gibby
Haynes manical yelping and distorted singing
wormed their way into my head.
"Graveyard" sinks a riff that cannot be
forgotten, while "22 going on 23" is a
horrific radio interview by an abused
woman played over the devils rock'n'roll.
Once heard, even if you do not like it,
