Back in 1972, Ian Gillan took a fledgling
band under his wing and produced this
album.
Sounding like early Sabbath or a
keyboardless Purple, these songs have
an urgency and rawness that still sounds
good now. It does not claim to be proto-stoner
or any other labels that old bands sometimes
now have.
