Australasia - Sin4tr4

Band request from Italy.

Australasia play instrumental post-rock but keep the
attention span by not having any songs over five minutes
long, giving this shortish album a chance to present tracks
that have a different identity which can sometimes be hard
with the more longer pieces found on albums by Pelican,
Russian Circles etc.

There is a definite cinematic feel to proceedings which will
be rewarded by playing as a whole, rather than individual tracks.

The atmospherics are helped by drifting synch-scapes and spoken
samples but do not fear, slow echoey drums morph into aggressive,
driving beats from which the guitars can surge over the top, giving
plenty of opportunities for feet stomping.

In an over-saturated genre, it can be hard to make your mark
but I think this band can do it.

Bio: AUSTRALASIA is the place where unusual soundscapes come to life:
ethereal guitars mix with blast beat drums and black metal riffing,
giving birth to strange and fast-flowing tunes.

Here subterranean streams alternate with tidal waves,
turning into cinematic pictures that can last just the blink of an eye.

A path distant from the typical instrumental music clichés.

This is "Sin4tr4", our way
